Now you may be wondering, "what kind of home is she growing up in," but it's not what it looks like. i promise. i think...

so we grabbed some of our old pants hoping to find some thing fun to do on Sunday afternoon. Little did we know that my sister, sam, would poke out her eye and have to cover it up with my pocket. JK.

Now my other sister, Kekoa, thought it was fascinating how people had the deep jivet in the chin-as my family calls it the Butt Chin-she thought she's try and get one for herself. She had to patch up with another one of our extra jean pockets.JK
She possessed.
Kekoa was trying to make her pocket fringy on the edges. But to do that she had to cut it first. i wished her Good luck and she gave up after 10 minutes of cutting stupid fringe hopelessly.

Theses had been jeans at one point in time. Now you wouldn't want to be wearin these tings in public!

All in all it was a fun Sunday afternon with out old jean pants. Who knew we'd made a 2 purses, poke out an eye, create a deep butt chin, made a Best Sister award, create the biggest messthe planet has ever seen, and total jeans in 3 1/2 hours? Oh well. We had fun doing it.

Frame Stuff

I said i'd keep ya posted and so i am. we FINALLY got the trim done around out entryway, kitchen windows, and our front and back door! When i say finally, those who know what i mean know that it's at least finally. (it's still not painted but i don't complain becuase at least now i don't have to see the sheet rock!)
doesn't it look AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
sorry, this pictures a little dark. my camera went funky, but you can still see how good the trim looks.
that's what it looks like in comparison to the new paint! don't look at the light switch, just marvel at the beauty of the frame and paint.
BEAUTIFUL WINDOW!!!!! BEAUTIFUL FRAME! THANK YOU TO GRANDMA and GRANDPA S., NEIL, MOM and DAD!

Kitchen re-do

Well, one day we got ambitious. At first my mom just wanted to re-cover our seat cushions. How it got to painting, and staining, and gutting, don't ask me. Let's just say my grandma and I are pretty good at persuading. So we went and bought paint. Here i'm painting above the cabinents. i really wish that we could have gotten to it with the roller. As it turns out i'm a lot taller when i stand on the counter and in consequense of being taller my hair decided to turn a few years older without waiting for those couple of years to actually happen. In the end, it seems that my hair brushed against the ceiling which we had just painted white.
I aged a little. Luckily it went away when i washed it out. My hair came to it's senses. :)
Don't i look so excited to go painting again after i'd already been doing it for 2 hours! Yay!

I think it's a really pretty color to tell you the truth. Pecan Sandie for the walls, a color for the ceiling, and pearl white (or somethin like that) for the trim, if you want to nitty gritty.

Well our kitchen underway. I'll keep you posted.
