more posts on Kitchen
i made this. i think that it's reather cute and it could be store bought. just don't look too close or you will be able to tell that i made it.
we just did this today since my grandpa came up with his interior designing skills.
these were going to go on the wall ebhind our table but my grandpa just seemed to know that i would hit my head on the shelves and knock them off the wall and then brake the cadles my mom was going to put on them. they're now going in the family room, some where.
we finally got the trim painted!
slowly but surely our house is getting finished. after the kitchen it'll be the downstairs family room. on with the demolition!
Girls Camp
She kept on crying our, "Where is it?" and almost hit her own mother.
This is me. Please excuse the hair, i was a major bedhead. So much that one girl couldn't help but chuckle every time she looked at me. i pulled back and swung my softball hit and broke it open. I'm not a strong hitter; i wonder what would happen if kate, one of our best hitters, had hit it.
trying to be happy as my father took a picture.
i do have to say that the view was worth it to look at as we came up. not to mention, the field after field full of wildflowers, it was one of the most beautiful sights i've ever seen.
This is the monument. it represents the four girls that died right there. it was raining hard and lightning was going and the lightning hit the tree in which the girls were sitting under. a few were saved, but four girls didn't make it. they came up later and built the monument in their memory.

Now my other sister, Kekoa, thought it was fascinating how people had the deep jivet in the chin-as my family calls it the Butt Chin-she thought she's try and get one for herself. She had to patch up with another one of our extra jean pockets.JK
She possessed.
Kekoa was trying to make her pocket fringy on the edges. But to do that she had to cut it first. i wished her Good luck and she gave up after 10 minutes of cutting stupid fringe hopelessly.
Frame Stuff
doesn't it look AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
sorry, this pictures a little dark. my camera went funky, but you can still see how good the trim looks.
that's what it looks like in comparison to the new paint! don't look at the light switch, just marvel at the beauty of the frame and paint.
BEAUTIFUL WINDOW!!!!! BEAUTIFUL FRAME! THANK YOU TO GRANDMA and GRANDPA S., NEIL, MOM and DAD!
Kitchen re-do
I aged a little. Luckily it went away when i washed it out. My hair came to it's senses. :)
Don't i look so excited to go painting again after i'd already been doing it for 2 hours! Yay!
I think it's a really pretty color to tell you the truth. Pecan Sandie for the walls, a color for the ceiling, and pearl white (or somethin like that) for the trim, if you want to nitty gritty.
Well our kitchen underway. I'll keep you posted.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
-Winston Churhcill
In the midst of our lives, we must find the magic that makes our souls soar.
Dance as though no one is watching you, love as though you have never been hurt, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though heaven is on Earth.
-Souza
May the sun bring new energy by day, may the moon softly restore you by night, may the rain wash away your worries, may the breeze blow new strength into your being, may you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.
Life always has its own way of throwing things out at us. It always seems to know when we’re at our lowest, when the world seems to be eating us alive. How it seems to know, I’ll never know, neither will the rest of the world. It only causes us, as people, to hurt even more for the person, place, or thing, even if we know that we will never see it again. There is no way to stop this monstrosity we call Life. It hunts and attacks around the corner. So I advise us all, never get down, always stay above what every body expects. Life attacks when we’re at our lowest, but if we never are, how can it attack?
People are people. Normal is normal. Normal, however, is not people and people are not normal.
Friends are only friends if they’re a dork just like you.
It’s just a rose,
some may say.
But what if you were that rose,
that had been dropped on that day?
We’ve all been on the floor
at least once in our life.
Maybe it was just a bad day-
a bad day full of strife.
Maybe some one put you down;
Telling lies that even you listened to.
Normally you don’t believe,
but today it just got to you.
Here’s a story-
Remember, she’s just a rose.
Just a story
And it starts with a hose.
The little girl was late for school.
She held her two roses,
They were for her teacher
And the teacher would have had those two roses if not for the hoses.
The little girl was hopping on her steps,
One foot hit the step just right.
She slipped on the hose
And started to cry with all her might.
Her daddy told her to get up.
“Stop whining,” he said.
The little girl got up with a sob,
and said, “But daddy, my rose looks like its dead.”
“It’s fine,” he said gruffly, and so
the little girl trotted after her father, when she realized that she only had one rose.
“Daddy,” she pulled on his coat.
“My other rose is at home by the hose!”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“But daddy, my rose-“
He gave her a look.
She whispered, “its at home by the hose.”
When she got to school,
Every little boy and girl was giving two roses.
A girl named Shirley asked the little girl where her other rose was.
“It’s at home by our hoses!”
That pore rose stayed there until noon when a strong wind started blowing and blew it away.
The rose froze and the little girl cried. Over a rose.
You may think that this is a silly story, but how many times have you been like that? Where the last piece just blew and you thought you’d go right a long with it? Remember we are all just roses, being dropped all the time by the people around. Don’t take heed of them, just keep going; press forward, and don’t let those people know you’re losing your grip. Hold on, stand strong, and know that I am always here. Even if I’m being the rose that is being stomped on and forgotten, I’ll try to put you back in the vase.
I will never forget you. And when I say never, I mean never.

Magic
This it So Sweet it Made Me Cry
She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said:
'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?'
The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'
Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'
The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.'
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair ?' the nurse asked.
Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.
The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'
Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.
The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.
She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.
It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:
'Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You'. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him?' 'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool ? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?
Signed with Love from God, Jesus & Me.

Waltz
This is the waltz. A dance that every should at least have and idea of what they should do, in my opinion. This dance was the worst when you had to dance with the guys...i'll leave it at that. I'm playing the girls and Isa is playing the guy's part.
Roomba
This is the roomba. An EXTREMELY boring dance. And considering that i was the playing the guy's part and i had no idea what i was doing half the time, it made it and EXTREMELY embarrassing moments performing for all the parents.

Cha Cha
This is the cha cha, one of the faster dances though not the liveliest. The cha cha was the first dance that we learned in out elective of ballroom. I am playing the girl while my friend Isa is dancing the guy's part. I feel really stupid at a number of parts. I'm sure you'll know why after watching.
Fox Trot
My friend, Isabella, and I are dancing in this clip the Fox Trot. The Fox Trot is one of the more easier dances that our teachers taught all class. It is a fairly slow dance, and the version we learned is boring. I am playing the guy and Isa is playing the girl.
